Alert! 'Featured Pick' News - Red Branch Technologies Inc. (OTC: RBTI)
'Featured Pick' News Alert!
NEWS RELEASED AFTER THE CLOSE Commentary Despite its tumbling share price over the past week, RBTI released what we believe is a powerful piece of news after the close today. The Company announced that it has signed an agreement with privately held Deskport Technologies to introduce Red Branch's my|mTravel product to Deskport's user base of 60,000 business travelers. Fishers, Indiana-based DeskPort Technologies, Inc. builds branded desktop applications and web portals providing shortcuts to information repetitively sought on the Internet. Flagship products include the USA TODAY MileTracker (tm) (
www.miletracker.com), FrequentFlier MilePort(tm) (
www.mileport.com), and MileTracker(tm) (www.deskport.biz), products that enable high-level travelers to simultaneously track all their online loyalty programs. With over 60,000 users tracking more than half a million frequent traveler programs, DeskPort users represent the ultimate travel demographic.
It looks as if the company's previously announced "controlled introduction" of my|mTravel is accelerating quickly. We wouldn't be surprised to see meaningful sales for the my|mTravel product by the end of 2008 as the company begins marketing to the general market upon completion of its controlled introduction. In the meantime at $.15 share price the company sports a very modest $13.8 Million market cap. Looks like a chance to pick up shares on the cheap here.
Press Release Red Branch Technologies Teams With DeskPort Technologies to Introduce 60,000 Business Travelers to my/mTravel
RESTON, Va., Feb. 25, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Red Branch Technologies, Inc., (Pink Sheets:RBTI) today announced that it has signed an agreement with privately-held, Indiana-based DeskPort Technologies, Inc. to introduce a cross section of that Company's user base of business travelers to Red Branch Technologies' my/mTravel(r)(tm) online business travel product.
In the coming weeks, DeskPort Technologies will begin a controlled introduction of the my/mTravel(r) suite of next generation online business travel tools to users of its desktop internet access point product, which is comprised of approximately 60,000 active business travelers that travel approximately twice per month on average.
